I have been in IT for 20+ years. The first computer I ever used was a TRS-80 Model I back in the '70s. One of my favorite early computers was a Commodore Amiga 1000.

After graduating from high school, I joined the Air Force and worked in the Communications/Computers Systems field. At my first duty assignment, I worked on a Perkin-Elmer system that process communication messages for US Air Forces - Europe. At my second assignment, I worked on an IBM System 370 supporting various satellite missions and 33 Space Shuttle mission as a part of Space Command. I finished my Air Force career working in a Network Operations Center getting experience working with Windows NT 4, Exchange and Windows 95.

After leaving the Air Force, I worked for two technology hedge funds in silicon valley learning more and more about LANs and Systems Administration. Between 2003 and 2009, I worked for several government contractors providing IT services to DOD, DHS, and DOI.

In 2009/10, I was the IT Directory for a friend and United States Senat Candidate, Andrew Romanoff. With Andrew's campaign I utilized and expanded my IT expertise in areas such as wireless networking, VOIP, web development, and social media.

Currently, I work for the Federal Highway Administration as an Information Systems Specialist.

In addition to my professional experience, I have always considered technology a hobby. I have assisted numerous organizations and political campaigns with meeting IT needs. I also have built my own websites and blogs over the years. In 2005, I produced a collection of portable applications available for flash drives. This collection was mentioned in several prominent websites including CNN.
