About Patrick G. Anderson
I’m Patrick Anderson. I am a dad, fiance, avid cyclist, CrossFitter, technology enthusiast, coffee lover and much more. I am also the co-founder of Zealology, a company that strives to make products for active, adenturous lifestyles.
Originally, I’m from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Right after graduating from 71st Senior High School, I joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in California, Germany, and the United Kingdom. I am very proud of my service and especially when I was Space Command. While serving with the 5th Space Operations Squadron I was awarded an Air Force Commendation Medal for my role in over 30 Space Shuttle missions.
After receiving an honorable discharge, I entered the private sector and worked as a systems administrator for one of the largest technology hedge funds in the world. As the Iraq War build up started, I took a contract to serve as a Financial Systems Administrator with the U.S. Air Force. After working with the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Interior, I moved over to the Department of Transportation as a contractor. In my first year, I applied for and accepted a federal employee position and is working as an Information Systems Specialist with the Federal Highway Administration.
